An opening title sequence is the first thing that you see when you begin a film, they are used to set the genre and the tone of what you are about to watch. A good opening title sequence will hint to the audience as to what is in store for them as they carry on the film, an opening title sequence is supposed to hook the audience. An opening title sequence is also supposed to give credit to the main members of the production of the film e.g the director, main actors, etc.
