The horror

• We open with two workmen walking up to Peaslake with an establishing shot-
• We get over the shoulder shots of the men filling in the cracks and relaying the gravel
• as they do these separate things to fix the building we get a close-up shot of the item they are fixing 
• We are given a quick cut transition in the style of the opening title sequence of the girl and the events happening to her.
• First, the cut is when the men are re-laying the gravel, we get a quick cut to the girl being dragged into the building by two men, kicking and screaming.
• We cut back to the men filling in a crack and get a cut to the girl's eye, extreme close up with blood coming out resembling a lobotomy that has gone wrong.
• we cut back to the men re installing a door and then cut back to the girl getting dragged into it 
• the opening sequence ends with the men leaving the building 
• We then see a jump cut to 1 year later and the family arrives and the film starts.
