I created my own overlapped sound using Garageband, I used four different sounds in total with two being fully created by myself. To create my own sound I breathed out with a long breath into the speaker of my phone, the audio quality I learned was not very good through my phone, however, it partly made the audio better as it made the breath feel unnatural this, therefore, created a spook factor to the overall audio. When considering the creation of my sound I wanted something that would resemble a medical condition that would have been treated in an asylum to stick with the theme of our opening title sequence. This idea touches upon the idea of how the clinically insane were treated and lets you hear how they were feeling, I did this by finding an audio that resembles the stages of Alzheimer's this for our opening title sequence creates the link between the medical sciences and the fact that it is a property that used to be an asylum. I was impressed by the use of the old camera reel sound in Sinister when I first watched it and due to this I thought it would also be an interesting audio sound to include to really create that unsettling feeling which is what I predominantly felt when watching Sinister, this means that Sinister a achieved what a horror film is supposed to deliver through its use of sound. When I was developing the sound I didn't believe that the audio itself had enough of a spin on it so I decided to add some clicking, the clicking emphasized different areas of the music and sound and created a piece of audio that was really unsettling which was in my eyes perfect for my edited version of the opening title sequence.
